Great weekend

Friday I went to Sara's house and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 10 cute girls! :) It actually turned out great! For dessert we had homemade blueberry pie, awesome! :) Saturday me and my friend Line went to town, got some shopping done and went to my mom's house for a little while. My brothers had a friend over so wooow! lol.. After a little while we went to my dad's (we had to watch his dog) and made taco with chicken! You should try it if you haven't. Other then that we dint get up before late sunday, then we fixed a good breakfast and watched TV. When she left I started on some homework and went for a walk with the dog.

Oh yea. Ive been soooo stressed out latly about this application stuff, I finally got some help. So I got my 225 dollar TOEFL test done, and pasted it. Now I got to wait till I get my mid-term in January, then I got to get someone translate that for me before I send it to WES (World Education Service) so they can do a course-by course evaluation. Then I can start applying to Morehead, with the bank statements, different letters +++
and hopefully they will accept my schooling!! So I wont be able to do much before I get my mid-term's so I guess im just going to focus on school and do my best. Even tho it's really hard not to think about this!

Anyway it is soon December ! One week, and we start our Norwegian Christmas tradition! One gift everyday from December 1st till December 24th or a chocolate calendar! :) Me and my mom went today and got almost everyone of my little brothers gift's and I told her that I want one every Sunday instead of one everyday :)
I also got ALL my Christmas present's for you all done and put in a box! :)

Well, I guess you all are so exited now. I did pass my TOEFL test, for Morehead I had to have a 62 and I got a 74 :) Now the big problem is how to translate my grades??? Im working on my application, but I dont know what to do and where to start...bah

Me and my friend Merete made deviled eggs the other day, thats to Kim and Susie!! :)

My friend Line from Skien is coming to stay this weekends! :) And we are going to have a Thanksgiving dinner at Sara's today! I can't wait.. I dont know what we are going to do saturday, but we will find out. And my coach told me im going to fly some in our new rutine, that will be interesseting. See you soon <3

This week has gone by so fast. Monday I had a lot of homework to do and I was still kinda stressed out about thats test, Im trying not to think about! :) I started to boil egg's before school so I got egg and kaviar for lunch <--.

Tuesday I woke up to this --->
I almost forgot how pretty it is when the snow stays! Look it really it beautiful, and this was the first day. Now it is even prettier.

I also went to cheer practice Tuesday, for the first time! It was awesome! We do all stunt and tumbling. Our name is: Eiker Tigers, it is a video of them on youtube if you want to see. I think our routine for competition is going to be awesome. But I was sooo soar the day after, omg. We done running, tumbling and (strength?), 2 1/2 hour non stop training, it was so much fun! I loved it :) Can't wait to train more, even tho I half to take a train and bus to get there, it takes about 1 hour to get there, and 1 hour home. But hopefully my dad can pick me up some days, it is faster to drive so :) Im so happy I found a place in Norway to work with cheerleading tho, it is fun :)

Today I went to my mom's aunt's funeral. It was really sad, she passed away last week, she had cancer and been sick for a while. The funeral was sad but really pretty and the family went out to eat after. Later on I went to work, I was tired and din't feel like working after a day like that, but my mom got me some nuts and I got through the day, lol. Even tho I did forget the key, and stressed for about an hour before I found out we had two extra once at work!

When I got home my dad had some Norwegian Christmas dinner ready, mmmmm It is so good! :)

Tomorrow I'm working from 10AM till 6PM, and after that i'm just going home to relax.

Oh well. It's been a lot going on lately.
Halloween -->
<-- Me and Merete took the TOEFL test, let's not talk about it, just say it like this we thought we knew English.... I get my results back in two weeks. Other then that, me and my girls bought a russe car! It is awesome, accept the stereo got stolen, but we will fix it. Thanks to my awesome dad we got it cheaper and he already got a lot done on and inside of it. Me and Andrea worked all day sunday talking stuff out of the car and all that.

I also got my packet from Pam! :) Jif peanut butter and nike shox ++, gotta love her :)
Aaand I got red spots all over my stomach and back if you wanted to know, an allergic reaction on something :( So it hurts, and I just want it to go away! :) Other then that I got a lot going on at school and it is soon Dec! :D Can't wait to eat some good old Noorwegian christmas food and dress up with all the family :)

Ill probably send my application to MSU in soon too, so pray for me :)

Russekickoff = Great

These girls are amazing! I had a great time friday night, first they all came over to my house, we played some drinking games, talked, danced and had fun! We ordered a cab, we were suppose to be ready at 10:30PM to go to town and the Russekickoff, but the cab never did show. So we started walking and singing on our way "Kongsberg russen 20 11, gonna get all the other russ shake" (it sounds good in Norwegian lol) Anyway, the cab showed up about 30min to late, so we finally got to town! But we had fun on our way down anyway :) When we got to town, everyone was dancing in the club, so we joined and had a great time :)

Saturday I stayed home with my dad and his gf, we just chilled out and watched TV. Today I got some homework done and spend some time with my little brothers, mom and beautiful dog <3

And now we are going to bed, me and Jaro :)

Let's go sickness

So, I got earache and a sore throat! Great, tomorrow is Russekick off (a graduation kick off party, we start the partying now, and got small parties like this and prom until the beginning of May when the real Russe celebrations starts) I'm really exited, but sick of curse. Anyway 14 girls are coming over to my house earlier tomorrow to have fun and start drinking before we go to the party. I don't know I am going to drink since I'm sick, but oh well let's make the best out of it :) It is my fault that I ain't better, I went to school and work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday really sick, stubborn as I am.

It is a lot going on at school now, but I got to work on it this weekend. Nothing new about the other school part, i'll let you all know when I get more information :)

School, weekend, work :)

So finally the weekend is here, I worked after school today and all day tomorrow! But when I get home after that Im going to relax and watch a movie with a friend :)

This week have been pretty busy, its been a lot to do at school and I worked 3 days. I had a two PE papers, norwegian novel, KK two papers and more! But I got some turned in and started on most of them :)

I started my application for Morehead, but it's still a lot to do before I can send it. I got to take my test next month, get all my classes translated and send out, write a letter ++.. I decided that i'm applying as a transfer student, so hopefully they will accept me! I got to have 23 credits to do this, so hopefully when I translate my diploma ill get those. Even tho i'm sending my application in now, they can't tell me the final answer before I graduate. Then I got to apply for a visa where I can work and go to school, I also got to apply for financial aid and make sure everything is "ok" and "supported" by the norwegian government and other organization. I know it sounds easy, but it is a lot more to it then this.

So, this weekend has been pretty good! I got to spend time with my good friends and my family! Friday me my dad and his gf had shrimp, it was great! We just relaxed and watched TV. Saturday we went to town for a little while and later on I went to my mom's to spend some time with my twin brothers :)
Mari, my friend, came home from Trondheim so she had Taco with us. Actually Taco with moose, not hamburger! Its really good, you all should try it :) Later on me and Mari went to town, to meet some friends before she left again! Today I walked to the tanning bed, then when I got home my mom just got done cutting Mari and Marte's hair :) We walked and got strawberry jam before we made waffles, now i'm sitting at my dad's again and tomorrow school start back after a week vacation! Oh weell...
YEA! I ordered the TOEFL test today, it costed 225 dollar! It's a english test I got to take if i'm going to college next year. So november 6th, im taking it! Its a 4 1/2 hour test, so wish me luck! :D

Another day

I had a great night with my girls Merete and Andrea, we had a little girl night, made waffles, hot chocolate and we watch One Tree Hill. Witch I got really disappointed because the episode wasn't all that good! But we had a good time, they spend the night and we didn't go to bed before three in the morning! :) Merete went to work earlier that morning, but me and Andrea made breakfast and went to town for a little while before I had to go to work. When I got home my little brothers had came home from Sandefjord (where my cousins lives) so we watched TV and relaxed. I also started working on my scrapbook again yesterday! So today i'm gonna get some pictures I want to print out and see if I can do it today! :) Other then that I'm home alone again, so we will see what tonight will bring :)

Today I went to a meeting with ANSA - Association of Norwegian student Abroad. It was interesting, they told me that the Norwegian gov. will support some of my education at MSU: IF i get in my sophomore year! So lets pray that MSU will let me in! That would be great, it all up to them now.. Or, Im got to take a english test, and of course im going to pass it :) So, i'm going to write a letter to MSU this week, and i'm gonna apply as a transfer student (right?).. and pray that they accept me! Of course they can't promise nothing since I don't have my grades yet, but I'll send in all the classes I have taken and I am taking, and hopefully it will be good enough :)

I also had coffee with my wonderful Aunt before I went to the meeting, it was really nice to seeing her again and chat. I also meet her dog for the first time, and she got me some hair stuff from H&M :D

Before the meeting I meet Ayan, and we finally found the house! After the meeting we went shopping, I got my American friends some christmas presents and I got me a top from Gina Tricot. I also meet my good friend Karianne! I was great seeing her again, we had dinner at Friday's and talked forever! :)
On the train station I suddenly see my Merete coming, so we took the train together home :)

Graduation and all that

Today is going to be a good day. Im going to town later to get my loving American's some stuff that I'm gonna try to mail out this week :) Later on me and my girls at the "russebil" are going to look at a car for graduation! Can't wait.. Here is a little about our graduation:

Our graduation is kinda like a festival for the graduates. It officially starts 1th of May, and we can put on our overall colored pants, we can start driving or matching cars, vans or busses and we are officially russ!
The vans/cars is girls or boys gone together 5-9 people. We buy cars, fix them up and give them wired/funny names. During this period we also get hats with nicknames, its called "russedaapen" friends send in names to the leading people of the russ comity and it's often immersing names. When they say your name you got go up to the stage and explain why you got that name, if you explanation is wrong they poor beer over you.

We also got stuff we can do during this period to get stuff in our hat, like if you don't sleep for 24 hours you get a black bow. Walk around with bread as shoes a hole day, make out with a freshman, go in to a freshman class and answer all the questions the teacher ask, sleep outside of the school. This is just some of it, usually is a list with 100 or more stuff to do.

Its also a lot of concerts set up for the "russefeiring" like "kongeparken" witch is a weekend festival, where thousands of russ get together and party. In 2011 Ludacris is coming, I'm exited! :)

This goes on non-stop till 17th of May (Norway's national day) This day the Russ, got their own parade in town where we often makes fun of famous politic persons and other stuff been in the media.

Well, I figure I'll start blogging again, this time in English. Im gonna write a little about whats going on in my life :)

Yesterday I worked from 10AM till 6PM, then me and Andrea went home and made Taco! Marte came over later, we watched TV and relaxed. Today I made waffles for my dad, his girl friend and my grandparents :) I got a week vacation now, so Im going to work two days, going to Oslo on a meeting and do some homework. I got a lot to do at school now, but it's only 2 months till christmas! :D lol..
